Hullness debate - this Saturday!

 

We are very pleased to invite you to the first of this year's Hullness debates, being hosted by the Hull Civic Society and taking place from 11-1:30pm on Saturday 3 July here at Arc.

The event will kick off with 3 short, lively talks before launching into an open debate.

New artist opportunity

The 'Heart of Hull' project - Whitefriargate

We are looking for two artists to create two separate ten week temporary interventions along the street scene on Whitefriargate in Hull. The work will be applied to, above, around or on the empty shop units along Whitefriargate.

Larkin Toads

We are proud to be involved in the Larkin with toads project, which will see 40 decorated toads populating the city during the summer in commemoration to Philip Larkin.

Arc have been involved in the designing and decorating of some of the toads, which are due to be completed by the end of next week.

Guided tour competition Guided tour competition

We are very pleased to be able to offer five Arc members the chance to come along on a guided tour of the historic Minerva Lodge 250, on Dagger Lane, Prince Street in Hull from 2-4pm on Wednesday 14 July.

To enter, please email hannah@arc-online.co.uk with the subject 'Minerva Lodge' and include your name and telephone number in the email. The closing date is 4pm on Wednesday 7 July. Names will be drawn out of a hat and the successful members will be informed by Thursday 8 July.
