| New exhibition - East meets West
10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, until 16 September at Arc
Arc has commissioned photographers Sarah Daniels and Saeed Taji Farouky to create an exhibition aimed at 'bridging the gap' between East and West Hull. The images are currently being displayed in the Arc building, now extended by popular demand until 16 September.

Whitefriargate given new lease of life
3 September - 5 November, Whitefriargate, Hull
As a continuation of Arc's 'Art in Empty Spaces' scheme, we have commissioned the work of Andrew Kearney to inject colour into the Whitefriargate streetscape and celebrate Hull's annual Freedom Festival. It forms part of a wider summer activity aimed at encouraging interest, footfall and spend in the Trinity Quarter. Read Full

Members and the public are invited to join Irena Bauman of Bauman Lyons Architects at Arc.
Irena will be talking about the subject of mixed-use urban regeneration and cultural creativity with regards to sustainable development.

Arc opens up for Heritage Open Days 2010
10am-4pm, Thursday 9 - Sunday 12 September at Arc
Arc will be offering something for all ages as part of this year's Heritage Open Days from 9-12 September. In conjunction with the Civic Society, several buildings and places will be opening their doors to the general public between 10.00am and 4.00pm, with tours, exhibitions and events exploring architecture and culture. | Exhibition: Looking East for fluid ideas

Climate change is increasingly affecting the way we design and live in our public realm. One aspeact of climate change is flooding. This exhibition will explore how water impacts on our public realm, how we live, what we build and how it determines policy at local and national levels.
