'see green' was a one-day event addressing sustainability issues currently facing businesses in the region. A day of inspiring talks and workshops was followed by a 'sustainable feast' at the Arc city pavilion. |

Andrew Steele of the PATT Foundation welcomed delegates with an inspiring speech in which he delighted in the enthusiasm for sustainability that he had witnessed from individuals and organisations within our region. This was followed by talks by: Granville Davies from Royal Haskoning Ruskin Gammon and Paul Stephenson from Energy Building Ltd. Claire Watts from East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Humber Technical Assistance Simon Drury from AEA on behalf of WRAP The evening saw the Arc city pavilion transformed into a luxurious setting for the sustainable feast. Guests enjoyed local produce prepared by Leonardo's Bistro Bar, including Watercress and Strawberries from Keyingham, beef steak from Driffield and asparagus from Lincolnshire. Yum! Guests were also treated to some after dinner entertainment provided by Eden Rivers and also a fantastic live band. We are in the process of uploading the presentations from the day onto our learning resources page. |
