We will do this by enabling, promoting and showcasing good design and sustainable development, by driving up design awareness and skills in the private, public and voluntary sectors and by providing support for creative interventions in public art and public space.
|
|
We will:
- Promote quality in architecture, public space and sustainable development through a programme of training, events, research and learning.
- Facilitate the exchange and growth of knowledge in best practice and good design locally, regionally and nationally and be part of the national Architecture Centre Network.
- Enable inclusion and diversity in placemaking by providing people with access to the skills to develop and play a full role in change in their areas as part of the Localism agenda.
- Advocate the economic case for good design, and enable strong client leadership by project developers and managers.
- Promote quality in design through Design Review, accessing skilled enablers, facilitating CPD, and other learning opportunities.
- Provide services to enable excellence in the commissioning of public art and the improvement of public space.
- Actively encourage efficient use and generation of energy to create a low carbon future.
Arc is a registered charity, and our work is only possible through the support of our funders and partners, listed below.
